Remote Year is an organization that helps professionals embrace the remote work movement and leverage it towards personal and cultural development.

  • Enrolled in UX Design classes, working on expanding my skill set to lean more into my interest of curating exceptional user experiences.

  • Traveled with a group of 22 professionals, from a variety of industries, through Vietnam, Thailand, Japan and Malaysia taking part in immersive cultural experiences, leading two professional development workshops and participating in positive impact activities.

2016 - 2019

Marketing Programs Specialist

Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC)

Key Achievements: Developed and executed ARC's annual customer conference event marketing strategy, TravelConnect, for two consecutive years. Grew 400+ person event almost 5% year-over-year and now holds a record-breaking attendance streak since 2017. In 2019, broke record for attracting the most first-time attendees, which totaled to be a third of the total attendance since the event's inception.

  • Collaborated with internal and external business partners to execute complex, multi-tiered B2B marketing initiatives and strategies, including 30+ customer-focused email marketing campaigns and supporting a suite of 25+ product email marketing initiatives.

  • Worked cross-functionally with content, design, and web teams to create a branded, user-friendly website and event application. Co-wrote online conference registration process as well produced content to create an exceptional conference event app experience.

  • Wrote long form and short form copy for digital channels, including paid ads, corporate website, company blog and Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram posts, including editing content for product and customer-centric emails.

  • Identified opportunities to grow customer engagement by optimizing email designs and customer newsletters templates. Supported strategic marketing plans for existing and new product launches.

Key Achievement: Contributed to marketing strategies for an award-winning, multi-million dollar annual conference and tradeshow, Water Environment Federation Technical Education Conference (WEFTEC), which attracted 25,000+ attendees worldwide.

  • Created 10+ WEFTEC marketing campaigns with key internal stakeholders using direct mail, video, conference event in-app promotions and advertisements.

  • Generated, edited, and shared daily social media content that builds meaningful connections and encourages followers to take action (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and routinely pulled social media analytics to develop effective social media campaigns.

  • Managed content and brand style updates to WEFTEC.org and WEF.org websites; assisted with improving SEO strategies.

  • Assisted with developing strategic relationships with global partners and potential members and facilitating collaborative international program initiatives.

  • Co-led the inception of the “Water Advocates" program and assisted in developing branded program materials, maintained microsite on CQ Roll Call and produced content for social media channels.
